Enjoy a Classic Guided Tour, followed by an additional 15 minutes of chocolate making where you’ll roll, dip and decorate truffles to take home with you.
Embark on a journey through the fascinating history of chocolate, tracing its roots from ancient Central America to the global industry it is today. Guided by our knowledgeable tour guides, you’ll explore York’s rich confectionery past and uncover how it earned the title of the UK’s chocolate capital. Learn about the city’s pioneering chocolate-making families and their world-famous creations, such as KitKat and Chocolate Orange.
During the truffle rolling experience, as well as making your own chocolate lolly, you’ll get the chance to make your own delicious ganache-filled truffles using premium Belgian couverture chocolate too. Watch a live demonstration by our skilled chocolatiers and enjoy tasting their freshly made treats!
